Cafe Mexico

Menu: Authentic Mexican menu, with excellent specialties, based on seafood, chicken or beef. Most entrees served with refried beans and rice and small green salad. Vegetarian versions available on many items. Add jalapeños to most meals for 50¢. Limited number of desserts, but they are all good, including deep fried ice cream!

Features: Located downtown in Market Square. Two entrances - one off Market Square courtyard, the other off Store St. Funky Mexican decor, serving the best Mexican food in town and reasonably priced draft beer. A lively place but not too noisy. Patio area in the Market Square courtyard is available.

Address: 1425 Store St, Victoria, BC V8W 3C6. West side of Market Square.

Phone: (250) 386-1425

Getting There: Bus routes within one block. Easy walk from downtown hotels.
Driving: Take Blanshard to Pandora, and turn west.  At the foot of Pandora is the Market Square Pay parking lot, or drive another half block and turn left into the small parking area in front of the restaurant.  On-street meter parking also available in the area. Driving time from downtown: 5-10 mins.
